So much is changing for me these days, i thought i’d tell you about it in a post that has nothing to do with crochet or knitting!
Lately I’ve been overloaded with crochet projects, most are in progress, some I haven’t started yet, and some I’m totally behind on. All of these are gifts for friends and family, and I’ll hopefully be able to share them all with you when done:
I’ve made quite a few of these cute little crochet bunnies, both as gifts, and as items people have ordered as gifts… i love finding patterns that are so loved!
Yesterday, a friend posted a link on my facebook page for itty bitty teeny tiny amigurumi dolls:
and I was truly AMAZED!! These are so beautiful and tiny and cute… but the thing i was really amazed about – was how the heck did anyone make that without suffering intense joint pain and losing the ability to use her hands?!
One of the things I’ve recently gotten really into is making baby toys from amigurumi patterns.
These are so fun and pretty, and definitely not what people expect to get when you tell them you are making them a crochet baby gift.
My history with needle crafts started out with simple embroidery waaaaaayyy back in the day, which was later followed by making bracelets and lanyards in elementary school. In high school I pretty much ditched all of it, and only later on around the age of 18, I picked up a single crochet hook, and learned to crochet my first Kippah!
